ABOUT US

How come Indonesian food is very famous for its richness of flavor?  It is simply because Indonesian food is based on fresh spices and exotic herbs.  If you google Indonesian recipes you would quickly notice so many fresh herbs and multitude of exotic spices used in Indonesian cooking, it really is a big contributing factor as to why Indonesian cuisine is very flavorful and exciting to eat.  Cooking is a calling for Chef Bejo.  Growing up in a food-conscious home, it was inevitable that Chef Bejo would start honing his craft very early in life, inheriting his mother's footsteps.  Understanding that eating is the key to good cooking, Chef Bejo has followed his taste buds to many parts of Asia, Europe and the US, discovering forward thinking flavors, super fresh ingredients and techniques to infuse in his distinctive, authentic traditional Indonesian cuisine.  Let's invite your family and friends to enjoy the authenticity of Chef Bejo's scrumptious food and get ready for some crazy serious Indonesian culinary journey!

RISOLES

Seriously... how did RISOLES come to be? Our theory is, it was brought to Indonesia by the colonial Dutch who ruled Indonesia for over some 300 years until the 1940s.  Although what is interesting, the Indonesian version uses this cool super thin skin pretty similar to French crepe.  You find Indonesian risoles filled with anything from ham and cheese, beef, curry flavored chicken, or... obviously- our favorite: the ever-so-delicious creamy chicken ragout! It is then breaded and deep fried until the outer skin is golden brown and crispy while the ragout inside stays soft and creamy.  Oddly, this delightful European influenced snack is typically served with bird’s eye chili pepper.  Listen up, people... here's fact #1: Most People Do Not Make Risoles At Home.  So yeah,  why in the world would you spend most of your afternoon laboring in the kitchen covered in flour and grease? On top of everything, it is also way too intimidating to make.  Hence, we strongly suggest that you order some... pronto!

NASI CAMPUR

Nasi campur in literal translation means "mixed rice", it refers to an Indonesian dish of a scoop of nasi putih (white rice) surrounded by a number of various small portion dishes, which includes meats, vegetables, spiced eggs, and a delicious spicedpotato patty.  This dish is a beloved staple meal in Indonesia and extremely popular.  Nasi Campur is hard to beat!  If you're really starving right now, don't hesitate, have your tummies filled with this oh-so-flavorful awesomeness!  The ingredients used to make a plate of Nasi Campur are always totally fresh. That's why every bite of it tastes out of this world!  Everything is coated with crazy tasty flavors down to the very last bite.

SOP BUNTUT

Here goes our version of crazy tasty Indonesian "Sop Buntut" which is a fabulous concoction of deeply comforting Oxtail, delicious veggies and ultra satisfying broth. Super rich in collagen and filled with wonderful complex flavors, simmered with a million of my family's secret ingredients, and then left to stew for 48 hours to create a dish of tender, flavorful bovine goodness!  Indonesian Oxtail Soup (Sop Buntut) is the most venerated and loved.  Our authentic Sop Buntut uses the best quality oxtail, with bone, cut into four to five sections and marinated with various types of fresh exotic spices.  You so definitely have to try "Sop Buntut" and let the world know how tasty it is!
